Pairs of Converse were placed In Case of Emergency boxes where a passerby could grab a pair.  If they posted a photo on the Facebook page, they were entered in a chance to win an adventure.  For people unfortunate to find some Converse in the In Case of Emergency boxes, they could tweet #converseboots for a chance to win a pair.

Life in the express lane

Here is a commercial for the 2012 Volkswagen Passat:

This spot reminds me of the intro in the Simpsons when it looks like Maggie is driving.  There are a lot of potential dangers while "driving" in the supermarket.

Lego augmented reality game app

I really wanted a Lego augmented reality app.  This is not what I had in mind, but it still looks pretty fun:

The Lego Life of George game comes with Legos and the associated app has several levels of building app games.  A timer ticks down as you have to replicate a Lego image from the app onto the AR mat.  Snap a pic of the Legos before time runs out to continue to the next level.

An alphabet that animates itself

Here is a second video for The Alphabet by Italian design studio n9ve:

Each letter of the alphabet is filled with an animation demonstration. Like D is for DESTRUCTION and watch the D explode into smithereens. And N is for NOTHING. NIENTE. NADA. NICHTS. O is for ORIGAMI. T is for TETRIS, and so forth.  It's fun a little video.

The first installation of The Alphabet includes a typeface representation for each letter of the alphabet:

Helvetica wears a crown. Because it is truly the king of typefaces.
