Pop-up theater

Here is an ambient stunt for the Intel Ultrabook:


A Pop-Up Team of 60 people used Intel Ultrabooks to create made a digital wall.  These mini-theaters showed video that cheered on skateboarders, provided menu options for diners, and other unexpected surprises.

Here are some outdoor ads for Craftsman Tools:




The outdoor posters were written on sandpaper and invited people to "Rub here to ensure a manly handshake."  The ads read:

Here is a billboard from Brazil for Nivea:


Using one million light-reflecting beads that would reveal its color when exposed to ultraviolet rays, this billboard in Rio de Janeiro would only appear when the sun came out.  The brighter the sun shone, the more intense the color of the beads became.

Bus shelters in York, Manchester, London, Nottingham and Glasgow allowed passersby to press a potato button to have a whiff of baked potato.

Interactive car entrance

Here is an outdoor ad from Germany for Mercedes:


Digital ad displays in the Berlin Underground were fitted with a system that allowed passersby to use their remote key entry systems to interact with the ad.  Each time they triggered the system with their key fob, a little surprise came out of the Mercedes.

Here is a papercraft-style commercial from Brazil for Chevrolet:


Nice touches in the spot include the squirrel on the stick and the quick big-wheel tire change across the river.

The web is what you make it

Here is a clever video for Google:


The video tells the story of G. Rajendran, an artist from Southern India who used Google AdWords to revive the dying art form Tanjore, becoming a successful business man in the process. 

Here is a video for Google Maps:


A giant cube replica of New York city was placed inside a gyroscope to show how Google Maps can provide live traffic updates, bus maps and GPS navigation.  All with an extremely cool low-fi, Rube-Goldbergesque quality.

Gnomes galore

Here is an ambient ad from Germany for toom:


To raise awareness for the German hardware store, The Gnome Protest was organized.  Gnomes were placed in the city center with protest signs with slogans like "Seeds Not Weeds!" "Pain in the Grass!" and "Just Say Mow!"  The back of the protest sign had copy about toom hardware store and the associated Facebook and Twitter pages.
