Let's talk about the FUN-da-middles

Here's a cute little animated spot for Betty Crocker's FUN-da-middle cupcake mix:

This little cupcake "Party" shows "It's What's on the Inside That Matters" as a naked little cupcake shows off its creamy middle to the fancy-pants cupcakes at the party.

Another spot for FUN-da-middles has cupcakes waiting in a plastic surgeon's office:

And the in the beauty shop where he stops interrupts cupcakes from superficial "Gossip":

An alphabet that animates itself

Here is a second video for The Alphabet by Italian design studio n9ve:

Each letter of the alphabet is filled with an animation demonstration. Like D is for DESTRUCTION and watch the D explode into smithereens. And N is for NOTHING. NIENTE. NADA. NICHTS. O is for ORIGAMI. T is for TETRIS, and so forth.  It's fun a little video.

The first installation of The Alphabet includes a typeface representation for each letter of the alphabet:

Helvetica wears a crown. Because it is truly the king of typefaces.

Free the cows and piggies

Here's a great animated spot for Chipotle featuring Willie Nelson's rendition of Coldplay's "The Scientist:"

Continuing with the Food With Integrity program, this animated spot shows a farmer who decides to go "Back to the Start" and opts for sustainable farming to "Cultivate a Better World."

The animation is great and is actually very cute with pill-shaped pigs and two-dimensional chickens.  The video needs a light-touch to it otherwise it would get too heavy in the slaughterhouse scene when the piggies get squished into pink cubes.  But there are very nice animated touches through out the whole video.

Animated tattoo

Here's an "animated tattoo" for Ballantine blended scotch whiskey.  This Marco fellow volunteered to have a QR inked on his chest live-streamed on Facebook where viewers influenced the tattoo:

QR codes are tricky and there are considerations to be made in terms of execution.  [Isn't that right, Jet Blue?]  I'm not super into QR codes because I am of the lazy sort.  I don't want to whip out my phone for something that once scanned may be a total disappointment.  This is really cool, and may be a potential conversation starter if Marco continues to walk around the city topless, exposing his tattoo forever.

The animation is only so-so, but they were the first, so I give them kudos for that, and there may be more QR tattoos in the future.
[Don't worry you can always cover it up].

[Um, why do you have a tattoo of a black box?  Long story... ]

Balloon animation

Amazing video from Brazil for MTV:

To make this stop-motion video they used a laser guide to line up hundreds of balloons to show you this amazing rockin animation with Slash, Ozzy, and KiSS...
