To promote the Season Premiere the floor of the bus shelter was covered in a plastic sheeting, fitting for the show's psychotic killing tendencies.

VitaminWater charging stations

Waiting certain has gotten easier with technology like smartphones to keep us occupied.  But it does put a strain on our gadget's battery life.  Here is a bus shelter created for VitaminWater: 

Bus shelters were set up in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Boston with USB-compatible chargers where people waiting could charge their devices.  The VitaminWater ad reads: Alternative energy source. 

Stickers around town

Here is an OOH campaign for the Artis, Royal Amsterdam Zoo:

Billboards and bus shelters were created with removable stickers of baby animals.  Passersby were encouraged to remove the stickers and affix them around town with copy stating:

(this is the one for the baby elephant)

"Expected in Artis: baby elephant (true size)

Babyboom in the city.  Help us spread the good news by putting these stickers all over town.

Let's Discuss...

I remember reading about an artist who used to blanket the city with conversation stickers over OOH adverts and random people with sharpies could come along and put in a bit of dialogue.  So I have always liked conversations and thought bubbles floating above someone's head in real life.  I have always been fond of comic books after all.

This campaign from Brisbane, Australia was installed in bus shelters to give priority to people who wanted to have a conversation.  Visually, I find it only okay... but I like the concept behind it.  Maybe this works in Australia and it's okay to strike up random conversations with people at the bus stop, like this happy group of people.

Maybe because I am from LA, and no one walks in LA ... let alone take public transit.  [Gross]  [I don't want to get stabbed.]  This wouldn't work...  


And also, priority seating should be given to the elderly ... I'm just saying.
